Q-100 Alpha Keyboard Option
The Q-100 can be equipped with a 52-key alphanumeric keypad. The keypad contains 26 letter keys, a 10-key number pad, cursor control keys and special function keys.
Benefits
The alphanumeric keypad allows quick and easy one handed text and numeric data entry, without the use of a virtual keyboard and without compromising the handheld's ultra-rugged performance.
The keypad also allows for quick and easy access to secondary functions such as controlling the display front light and accessing the Windows Start Menu.
The alphanumeric keypad is also backlit for use in low light conditions.
This full featured keypad in conjunction with superior wireless performance and best in class drop specification makes the Q-100 ideal for mission critical handheld computing needs.
ACCESSORIES: Q-100 Vehicle Cradle
With both corporate and public organizations increasingly concerned over the health and safety issues of computers in vehicles, the new Q-100 vehicle mount provides a small, lightweight, yet extremely robust way of stowing the Q-100 safely and securely in a vehicle. At the same time the vehicle cradle charges the unit’s battery, as well as allowing for serial communications with external devices such as a GPS receiver, or an external barcode scanner, amongst others. Infrared
communications can also be obtained whilst the Q-100 is cradled.
All versions of the Q-100 are compatible with the vehicle cradle including 23 and 52-key versions, radio and laser scanner.
The Q-100 vehicle cradle has been designed using a universal mounting plate for easy installation to the interior of any vehicle. It has been tested to 31mph crash test and is E-Mark certified.
