Installing WCEUSBSH.inf on your host computer so that
USB ActiveSync will function properly with the Q-100:


Preparing your PC:
  If you are using Windows NT, 2000, or XP:
    1. On your PC, copy the "wceusbsh.inf" file from the website with this
       readme to your root drive in the "\winnt\inf" directory.  You
       will be overwriting the existing file, so it may be necessary
       to confirm the overwrite.
    2. Reboot your PC.
    3. Start ActiveSync.


  If you are using Windows 98:
    1. On your PC, copy the "wceusbsh.inf" file from the website with this
       readme to your root drive in the "\windows\inf" directory.  You 
       will be overwriting the existing file, so it may be necessary 
       to confirm the overwrite.
    2. Reboot your PC.
    3. Start ActiveSync.


Connecting your GoBook Q100:
  1. On your Q100, bring up the start menu.  Then, tap 
     Settings, Connections, and PC.
  2. Check the "Automatically synchronize when serial cable is
     connected, using:" button.
  3. In the box below the check button, select "USB".
  4. Plug the 26-Pin connector of your USB cable into the left port
     at the base of the Q100.
  5. Plug the USB end of the cable into your PC.
  6. Windows should automatically detect the hardware as a Q100 and
     start an ActiveSync connection.
